1997 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet in Wimbledon Green Metallic named for the famous Porsche-sponsored Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London, with Classic Grey Leather, and a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six.
On consignment for my client and located in Miami, FL.
The car was sold new from Ray Catena Porsche of New Jersey with a Classic Grey partial leather interior, 8-way power seats, exclusive aluminum trim pieces, stainless-steel door sill guards, a limited-slip differential, Automatic Braking Differential (ABD), and rare hollow-spoke 18'' Technology wheels. The car remained with its second owner from 2002 until 2021. Purchased by the current owner in 2022 and treated to a host of services and refurbishment, this 993 is now being offered for auction out of Florida with under 46k miles showing on the odometer.
New Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 tires were installed in January 2022 and refurbishments completed by the current owner include touch-ups on the front end, dent repair, refinishing the rear bumper cover, and replacing the wiper blades and brake light bulbs. The seller adds that the original clear stone guard decals show some cracks from age.
There is a leak in the air conditioning system.
